This course is designed for both SWAT Officers and Patrol Officers. This course covers basic team concepts, room searches, clearing techniques, weapon control and retention, team assault techniques, tactical mind set and survivability, limited visibility techniques and communication among team members. This course will consist of limited class time with maximum hands on training inside of live structures. This will be an 8-10 hour course, maximum of 12 students.

Course Cost: Free to ISOA Members

Required Equipment: Tactical Vest or Patrol Vest, Eye Protection, Duty Gear, 75 rounds .9mm Simunition and or 75 rounds .223 Simunition rounds.

Provided Equipment: Glock Simunition handgun and M-4 Simunition bolts.

MTT Instructors: Bryan Hillis and Shawn Heishman

Bryan Hillis is a Certified ILEA Instructor and the current SWAT Team Leader for the Logansport Police Dept. Mr. Hillis also holds multiple certifications through the U. S. Department of State as it relates to Firearms, CQB, Combatives and Protective Operations.

Shawn Heishman is a Certified ILEA Instructor and the current Team Commander with the Logansport Police Department SWAT Team. Mr. Heishman also holds multiple certifications through the U. S. Department of State as it relates to Firearms, CQB and Protective Operations.
